Welcome to the second annual Official Seal of Nerd Awards, courtesy of AniGamers.
For those unfamiliar with the process of the awards, these are quite simply our version of best anime, manga, and video game awards.
However, they are notably chosen not only by our editors and writers, but also by our users.
Yes, this year we are officially opening up nomination privelages both to our own users, and to users of our affiliate sites.
Additionally, the owners and administrators of our affiliates are being admitted as honorary judges, and their votes will help decide the winners.
To begin, just post your nominations in our Forums thread.
If you are a Nintendo HQ member, you can use their thread.
Your nominations will be listed on the main site on or around January 1st, and from there our judges, who include myself, The Oracle, The RP Phantom, new writer Snappysm, and affiliates such as Vectrex 2K, will vote on the winners.
(I'm still waiting for replies to my request from affiliates Hazuki San, Weinberg, Yumeka, and Arya)
Once the winners are chosen, the three victorious titles in each category (Anime, Manga, Games, or Consoles) will be posted, possibly alongside our judges' personal top picks, and a few writeups from them.
Look forward to the winners in mid to late January.
