Evangelions (Evas)
Evangelion Unit 00:
Pilot: Rei Ayanami
The first Evangelion, after lots and lots of rejected ones, to be activated successfully. After being greatly damaged from a fight with the fifth angel, Ramiel, The once orange Evangelion had new blue armor put on. The soul of Naoko may be inside Evangelion Unit 00, which would explain how it goes berserk and attacks Rei. Unit 00 has had the most horrible things happen to it, such as losing an arm and exploding. Eva Unit 00 has taken the most dmamge out of all of them, probably because Rei is willing to risk her life to follow any order from Comander Ikari.
Evangelion Unit 01:
Pilot: Shinji Ikari
The stongest of the Evangelions, and the only Eva modeled after the second angel, Lilith. (The others were based off of the first angel, Adam, the giant of light.) I contains Yui Ikari's soul which is why it acts motherly towards Shinji, by protecting him even if it means the Eva has to go berserk. This Eva is also the key in finishing the Human Complementation Plan.
Evangelion Unit 02:
Pilot: Asuka Langley Sohryu/Kaworu Nagisa
This Eva was created in Germany and has the soul of Kyoko Zeppelin Sohryu, Asuka's mother. After Asuka starts to bring back her memories of her mother and how she hates her, she could no longer get along with her Eva, so her synch ratio kept decreasing until it reaches under 10% and Asuka can no longer pilot Evangelion Unit 02. When Kaworu comes to Tokyo-3, he has to replace Asuka and pilot Eva Unit 02. He is able to synch with the Eva and Asuka's Mother simply because he's an angel. Once she comes to like her mother more, she is able to not only synch with the Eva again but can use her A.T. Field as well.
Evangelion Unit 03:
Pilot: Toji Suzuhara
The first Eva to become infected by an angel. Shinji has to destroy it even if it means to hurt another human being. It has the soul of Toji's deceased mother. We don't know who she is, how she died, or any of that, but we do know she's dead and is inside Eva Unit 03.
Evangelion Unit 04:
Pilot: Kaworu Nagisa (Meant for 5th Child)
The Evangelion designed for the fifth child. It was sadly destroyed before the fifth pilot could be picked, so it was never used. It was the first Eva with an S-2 Engine, so during an S-2 Engine test it exploded taking the entire production plant and the 2nd branch of NERV.
Evangelion Units 05-13:
Pilot: Dummy Plug System
The Eva Series were created in 9 different areas around the world. They all look alike and have some equipment normal NERV Evangelions don't have. They have wings and an S-2 engine. They can also reactivate. They were made to attack NERV and start the 3rd Impact.
